With Claudia, it’s personal. She gets to know her clients and their needs. Whether it’s a short-term document matter, long-term litigation needs or ongoing business and personal legal issues, Claudia’s clients always receive her detailed and personal attention. She doesn’t work on many cases at a time, focusing on the areas where her passion lies and where her clients have seen the best results. She is currently licensed in Texas, and her application to the Washington State Bar is pending.

A Texas Trial Lawyer since 2003, Claudia served individuals and small businesses in West Texas until she moved to Seattle in 2015.  After a civil general practice in Midland, Texas, Claudia now focuses on Personal Injury, Probate, Employment Law, and matters of Small Business.  “Paperless & Virtual” was her goal long before it was a thing. Tamar Singleton

Senior Paralegal

Georgia State University

Greater Seattle Area

Tamar began her career as a paralegal in 1999 in the creditor’s rights field of law in Atlanta, Georgia.  Since that time, Tamar has used her skills to transfer from the field of creditor’s rights to personal injury.  Over the years, Tamar has assisted attorneys in their practice of personal injury plaintiff matters in Georgia as well as insurance defense, product liability, and wrongful death matters in Virginia.  After returning to her home town of Albany, Georgia, she continued her career as a paralegal by joining a law firm which defended the doctors and nurses of the main local hospital system against claims of tortious acts filed by hospital patients and/or family members of deceased hospital patients.  Due to a shift in the operations of that law firm, Tamar had to move on; continuing her career working as an independent contractor for a local criminal defense attorney who couldn’t afford office staff while searching for a more permanent opportunity.  This opportunity came in the form of a legal assistant/ paralegal position within the Dougherty County Office of the District Attorney where she was able to join a team assigned to the Chief Superior Court Judge for the prosecution of felonious criminal matters ranging from theft to murder.  Throughout her career, Tamar has worked to complete an Associate’s in Paralegal Studies and is currently completing her criminal justice degree at Washington State University’s Global Campus.

Seeking a more lucrative opportunity, Tamar relocated in 2014 to Washington where she continued her career until July 2016 as a paralegal for the Torts Division at the Office of the Attorney General.  Through the years she has become proficient in all aspects of the legal office environment.  She understands the sensitive nature of the job and the integrity any person must possess to hold such a position.  As a result, she offers diversity, experience and professionalism in assisting with tasks such as but not limited to researching, creating and editing documents, propounding and responding to discovery, requesting medical, financial, and educational records and professionally and courteously corresponding with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.  She has also been responsible for assisting other members of the legal department in maintaining compliance with local court rules and procedures and training them in different areas of the legal process.
